Spartak team's forward Anton Zabolotnyy shared his thoughts for Match TV after the match against Dinamo Makhachkala. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to him, the team tried to activate the game and aimed to create sharpness in the attacks. Despite some goal situations being ruled out, he considers this a normal situation for the first game.
There were some offside situations during the game, but these shortcomings can be eliminated as game practice increases. He hopes to act more effectively in official games in the future.
Zabolotnyy mentioned that he did not see his teammate being offside in his goal situation. He emphasized that as a forward, he positioned himself behind the defenders and received a good pass.
While discussing the game plan, head coach Deyan Stankovich noted that considering the strength and aggressive play of the Makhachkala team, he advised to make more long passes and direct the attack towards the central midfielders. As a result, the team acted effectively, and the game plan proved successful.
