Former famous football player Vitaliy Dyakov commented on referee Vasiliy Kazartsev. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
He faced criticism after officiating the match between "Spartak" and "Dinamo" Makhachkala. Kazartsev canceled four goals from the "red-whites" and did not award several penalty kicks in their favor.
According to Dyakov, the expert-referee commission of the Russian Football Union (RFU) should evaluate the referee's performance. If mistakes are identified, Kazartsev should face disciplinary measures.
He stated: "If it is confirmed that the referee was wrong, perhaps he will be given time to work with VAR or suspended for a certain period. In my opinion, he did not fulfill his duties, and disciplinary action is necessary against him."
These words are cited by the Metaratings source. In the second round of the Russian championship, "Spartak" will play against the "Baltika" team at home.
The match will take place on July 26, Saturday.
