Dinamo defeated Hamrun Spartans of Malta

The Kyiv "Dinamo" team started their match against the Maltese "Hamrun Spartans" in the Champions League qualifying round. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

The match was played at a low tempo, mainly influenced by the hot weather and the load from training sessions. In the early minutes of the game, the hosts' defense failed to control Vladislav Vanat in the central penalty area, and he scored with a precise shot on the second touch.

At the end of the first half, Denis Popov headed the ball towards the goal from a penalty kick, but this goal was disallowed due to passive offside. In the 76th minute of the game, Vitaliy Buyalskiy took a shot from medium distance, directing the ball to the near corner, and the goalkeeper's attempts to save were unsuccessful.

In the final minutes of the match, Nikolay Shaparenko took a shot from the edge of the penalty area on the right wing towards the far corner, hitting the goalpost twice, and then Nazar Voloshin scored from close range from the goal line. In the end, the "Dinamo" team won with a score of 3:0.

The return match is only formal. This result significantly increased the team's chances of advancing to the next stage.
