Homukha: Vendel Al-Ittihod rejected the offer
Dmitriy Homukha, a former player of CSKA Moscow and Zenit St. Petersburg, commented on the possibility of "blue-white-blues" midfielder Vendel moving to another team. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The Brazilian player did not participate in team training camps and is currently not part of the main squad. Recently, Vendel rejected an offer from Saudi Arabia's Al-Ittihad club.
According to recent information, several clubs from his home country Brazil, including Palmeiras, are showing interest in his transfer. Homukha stated in an interview with "Sovetskiy sport" that if the player has rejected a move to the Saudi team and Markus Vendel wants to play for Zenit, he will stay with the team.
Moreover, if the player has not returned home yet, it means that Zenit has not received a satisfactory offer for him. This indicates that the team is waiting for an appropriate price for the player.
