Vauter Byrger has transferred to Hoffenheim

Dutch midfielder Vauter Byrger has transferred from England's Stoke City to Germany's Hoffenheim team. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

This was announced by the official website of his new team. The duration of the contract signed with the 24-year-old player is currently unknown.

According to information from other sources, the transfer fee amounted to four million euros. Byrger was trained at the Feyenoord academy.

He has also played for Excelsior, Sparta Rotterdam, and Switzerland's Basel clubs. He has appeared for all youth national teams of the Netherlands, except for the senior national team.

He was also a European champion among U17 players. Last season, Byrger played in 45 matches, received 11 yellow cards, scored 1 goal, and provided 2 assists.
