Former Moscow "Lokomotiv" team captain Dmitriy Loskov admitted that he was surprised by Marko Nikolich's departure from the head coach position of CSKA. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The Serbian coach left the team after playing the second half of the Russian Premier League season without a loss. According to Loskov, Nikolich came to the team, won the Cup, and brought a team that was in low positions up to third place by the winter break of the season.
It was emphasized that the nature of coaching is not permanent and that constant changes occur in life. CSKA found a new coach three weeks before the start of the season after Nikolich.
The team began to be managed by Swiss Fabio Celestini, and under his leadership, CSKA won the Russian Super Cup. Nikolich, on the other hand, moved to manage Greece's AEK club, where his contract was bought from the "army men."
These changes played a significant role in the team's preparation for the new season.
