The German club "Volfsburg" has halted negotiations to purchase striker Josh Sardjent from the English team "Norwich". This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The WAZ portal reported on this. "Norwich" was planning to receive more than 20 million euros for the 25-year-old player.
The last offer made by "Volfsburg" was 19 million euros, which was rejected, and therefore the negotiations between the parties have concluded. Last season, Sardjent played in the second tier of the English championship.
He was unable to play for two months due to injuries, but participated in a total of 33 matches across all competitions for the team, scoring 15 goals and providing 5 assists. Additionally, Sardjent was part of the United States national team that won the CONCACAF Nations League in 2020.
