The striker from Qoraqog‘iston left a post on social media along with the song "Katuysha," stating that the coach of "Alexandria" called them enemies, but lost in the war. "Partizan" won the match held in Katowice, Poland, with a score of 2:0.
Before the match, Ukrainian players entered the field with national flags and refused the traditional handshake. During the game, insulting chants towards Serbian players were heard from the spectators.
The actions of the "Alexandria" team may be reviewed by the Union of European Football Associations. The return match will take place on July 31 in Belgrade.
