Kobelev: "Baltika" cannot rise above the eighth place

Famous local coach Andrey Kobelev shared his thoughts on the current season's prospects for the "Baltika" team in the Premier League. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

According to him, "Baltika" may struggle to play at a high tempo throughout the season. Kobelev emphasized that "Baltika" currently looks good as a cohesive team, which is a positive aspect.

However, the current squad allows them to compete for eighth or ninth place in the championship standings, but achieving a higher result will be difficult. Kobelev also commented on the significant victory over "Spartak."

In his opinion, the fact that "Spartak" played almost the entire match with one player less significantly helped "Baltika" secure the win. It is worth noting that the "Baltika" team drew (1:1) with Moscow's "Dinamo" and then triumphed over "Spartak" with a score of 3:0.

As a result of these outcomes, the team led by Andrey Talalayev currently occupies the third place in the league table. On Sunday, "Baltika" will play its first home match of the season against "Orenburg."

The match is scheduled to start at 15:45.
