Information about the disciplinary measures against the “Aleksandriya” team was published in the disciplinary decisions section of the official UEFA website. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to it, the Ukrainian club was fined 20,000 euros due to racism committed by its fans. Additionally, a part of the stadium will be closed during the next home match of the “Aleksandriya” team in the UEFA tournament.
This penalty is conditional and is set with a two-year probation period. It is worth noting that recently during a Conference League match, the fans of the “Aleksandriya” team made calls for violence against the Serbs.
In that match, the “Partizan” team outperformed the Ukrainian club and won with an aggregate score of 6:0. UEFA has firmly assessed this situation and reiterated that any form of racism and calls for violence are strictly prohibited.
The organization constantly reminds that order and respect on the football fields are important. The main goal of such disciplinary measures is to ensure fairness and stability in the sports environment.
