"Liverpool" football club is trying to add Swedish striker Alexander Isak to its squad. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
It is stated that Isak himself also wants to play at "Anfield" stadium, but negotiations are not going smoothly. On the first day of August, reports emerged that "Newcastle" rejected the offer made for Isak.
According to the Daily Mail, "Liverpool" has offered approximately 110 million pounds (126.6 million euros) to buy this striker. However, according to the source, "Newcastle" is asking for 150 million pounds (172.6 million euros) for Alexander Isak.
Earlier, it was reported that the 25-year-old Isak had left the location of the "Newcastle" team and started training at his former club's base – "Real Sociedad." So far, the parties have not been able to reach an agreement.
Negotiations are ongoing. "Liverpool" intends to strengthen its attacking line, but "Newcastle" does not want to let the player go for a low price.
The player's future is still uncertain.
