Manchester United is confident that they have emerged victorious in the competition to sign striker Binyamin Sheshko. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
Journalist Graham Bailey announced this on social media. According to reports, Sheshko is ready to move from RB Leipzig to Manchester United.
He has even agreed to join the team managed by Ruben Amorim, even if there are no European Cup matches for the English club. Previously, the 22-year-old Sheshko had also attracted interest from Newcastle.
Newcastle will participate in the Champions League next season on behalf of England, while the "Red Devils" will be left out of European competitions. According to journalists, RB Leipzig aims to make a significant profit from Sheshko's transfer.
The club wants to sell the player for 75 million euros plus additional bonuses. So far, no official agreement has been reached between the parties, but negotiations are ongoing.
