
Former goalkeeper of the Russian national team Anton Shunin assessed the participation of the Baltika team in the new season of the Russian Premier League. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The Baltika team, led by Andrey Talalayev, initially played to a 1:1 draw against Dynamo Moscow. In the next match, unexpectedly for many, they achieved a significant victory over Spartak with a score of 3:0.
According to Anton Shunin, many football fans did not expect such a bright start from the Baltika team. He emphasized that accumulating 4 points against opponents competing for the top positions in the championship by performing confidently in the first two matches is a good result.
The former goalkeeper also noted that in the next round, the Kaliningrad team could face a serious opponent in Orenburg, as Orenburg is showing a strong performance in defense. The match between Baltika and Orenburg will take place in Kaliningrad on August 3.
