The English football club "Birmingham" is showing interest in loaning 29-year-old forward Chuba Akpom. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

"Ajax" prefers the option of fully selling the player, but the club is also ready to consider a loan with the option to buy later. Such an agreement could reduce the club's salary burden for at least a year.
Last season, Chuba Akpom played a total of 48 matches for "Ajax" and France's "Lille" clubs. He scored 11 goals and provided 2 assists in these competitions.
Akpom transferred from "Middlesbrough" to "Ajax" for 12.3 million euros. His contract with "Ajax" is valid until June 2028.
According to Transfermarkt, the player's current market value is 7 million euros.
