Langovich: Rostov is fighting for top positions

Rostov football club defender Andrey Langovich shared his thoughts on the team's main objectives for the current season. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

He stated that the results at the beginning of the season were not as they had expected. Nevertheless, he emphasized that the players need to continue training and work tirelessly on themselves.

Langovich mentioned that the team aims to fight for higher positions, not just average results. He highlighted that Rostov has high potential and the team has all the opportunities to compete for top spots.

According to reports, the Rostov team lost their first three matches in the Russian championship. They were defeated by Zenit 1:2, Dynamo Moscow 0:1, and Krylya Sovetov 1:4.

As a result, the club is currently in fourteenth place in the Russian Premier League standings. Additionally, Rostov lost to Spartak Moscow 0:2 in the group stage of the Fonbet Cup of Russia.

Last season, Rostov finished the Russian championship in eighth place. During the summer transfer period, the team experienced some losses in its squad.
