Experts from Opta have calculated the championship chances of teams in the new season of the English Premier League using a supercomputer. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
As previously reported, the highest chance belongs to the Liverpool team. This team, led by Arne Slot, will defend the championship title in the new season.
According to the supercomputer's results, Manchester United's chances of becoming champions are estimated at only 0.6 percent. A total of 11 teams in the Premier League have higher chances than Manchester United.
Among them are Liverpool (28.5 percent), Arsenal (24.3 percent), Manchester City (18.8 percent), Chelsea (8.4 percent), Aston Villa (5.1 percent), Newcastle (5.1 percent), Crystal Palace (2.9 percent), Brighton (2.2 percent), Bournemouth (1 percent), Brentford (0.8 percent), and Nottingham Forest (0.7 percent). Last season, Manchester United finished in 15th place in the English championship.
The new Premier League season is scheduled to start on August 15.
