Vladislav Ternavskiy, a former defender of Moscow's Spartak football club and the Russian national team, commented on head coach Deyan Stankovich's communication with his players. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to Ternavskiy, players Chernov and Khlusevich mentioned that Stankovich rarely talks to the players. Ternavskiy considers this situation to be incomprehensible.
In his opinion, the head coach must always be in touch with the players; otherwise, it is not right. Drawing from his experience, Ternavskiy emphasized that a coach should always communicate openly with his players and listen to their joys and concerns.
Deyan Stankovich was appointed head coach of the Spartak team in the summer of 2024. Under his leadership, the team finished fourth in the championship in its first season, resulting in an extension of his contract.
In the current new season, after three rounds, the Spartak team is in eleventh place. Ternavskiy particularly noted the importance of communication between the coach and players in a football team.
In his view, open communication is essential for creating a good atmosphere and achieving results within the team. At the same time, the coach should also pay attention to working individually with each player.
