Semak: "Zenit" could not take advantage of the opportunities
Sergey Semak, the head coach of the St. Petersburg football club "Zenit," expressed his thoughts on the loss of points by his team at the beginning of the new season. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
He noted that "Zenit" had good opportunities to score in the matches against CSKA and "Rubin," but the team could not fully take advantage of these opportunities and, as a result, did not achieve victory. He also mentioned his intention to aim for more victories in the upcoming matches. For reference, the "Zenit" team has collected a total of two points in the second and third rounds of the championship.
In the second round, "Zenit" played away against Kazan's "Rubin," recording a draw with a score of two to four. In the third round, they also lost points in a match against Moscow's CSKA in St. Petersburg.
In the fourth round, the "Zenit" team will take the field against the "Akhmat" team in Grozny. The team has set high expectations for this match as well.
