Genich: "Zenit" needs to increase its speed

Sports commentator and expert Konstantin Genich gave his advice to St. Petersburg's "Zenit" team after their somewhat unreliable results at the beginning of the season. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

According to Genich, "Zenit" cannot easily defeat opponents in their current state, as all teams are playing defensively against them. In his opinion, "Zenit" needs to increase the pace of their game to show their potential.

For this reason, players like Gustavo Mantuan and Pedro dos Santos stand out in the team. They are making a significant contribution to increasing the speed, the expert says.

For reference, "Zenit" collected five points in the first three matches of the new season of the Russian Premier League. The team won 2:1 against "Rostov," but in the following matches, they drew 2:2 with "Rubin" and also recorded a 1:1 draw against Moscow's CSKA team.

In the fourth round, "Zenit" will face "Akhmat" away. Experts believe that if the team strengthens its game, it can achieve better results in the upcoming matches.
