"Liverpool" football club has started negotiations with "Crystal Palace" regarding the transfer of central defender Marc Guehi. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The club's management intends to add the 25-year-old player to their squad. Additionally, the "Liverpool" team has sent a formal offer to "Crystal Palace" for Marc Guehi.
The offer amounts to £29 million, which is approximately €33.5 million. Negotiations have just begun, and there is still plenty of time before the transfer window closes.
The "Liverpool" management understands that this offer may not be accepted on the first attempt, but they are making serious efforts to bring the player to their team. Marc Guehi's contract with "Crystal Palace" will expire next summer.
For this reason, "Crystal Palace" is interested in selling the player now. Otherwise, he could leave the team as a free agent at the end of the next season.
