However, the management has now changed its mind and is considering offering Kristensen a new employment contract. The new contract is intended to last until the middle of 2027.
His current contract expires at the end of the 2025/2026 season. Last season, Andreas Kristensen played in only six matches for Barcelona and did not stand out with any goals or assists.
Nevertheless, he won the Spanish championship and the King's Cup with the team. The club's management is trying to retain him in the squad, relying on the defender's experience.
