Liverpool wants to buy Brentford defender Collins

Brentford's defender Nathan Collins, who is currently playing for the team, may move to one of the leading clubs in English football. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

According to Football Insider, the 24-year-old Irish player is currently wanted by Liverpool.

However, Brentford's management is not ready to part ways with one of its key players during the summer transfer window. The club prefers that Collins remains with the team.

Last season, Nathan Collins played in 42 matches, scored two goals, and provided five assists. The defender's current contract is set to last until the middle of 2029.

Collins' transfer fee is currently estimated at 28 million euros. Therefore, negotiations for his transfer to another club may not be easy.

Brentford is not in a hurry to part with the player's services.
