Ramirez: Russian football is at a high level as it used to be

Christian Ramirez, who joined the "Lokomotiv" team during the summer season, assessed the level of play in Russian clubs. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

According to him, even when he was not playing in the Russian championship, he was following the matches of the Russian Premier League. In Ramirez's opinion, the level of the championship remains as high as it used to be.

He emphasized that it is still at the same level as it was five to seven years ago. The defender also noted that during his absence, the number of local and foreign players in the Russian championship has increased.

This indicates that the level of competition has further risen. For reference, Christian Ramirez has not played in Russia for two years.

He transferred from the "Krasnodar" club to "Ferencváros" in 2023. In July of this year, the Ecuadorian footballer signed a contract with "Lokomotiv" and has already appeared in two matches in the Premier League.
