A significant decision has been made regarding goalkeepers in the PSG team. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
It has been revealed that Luka Shevalye, who recently joined the team, has been chosen as the main goalkeeper of the Paris club. At the same time, the current goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma is planned to be sold a year before the expiration of his contract.
In this case, Matvey Safonov will remain in the team as the second goalkeeper. PSG head coach Luis Enrique is not satisfied with Donnarumma's performance and does not wish to see him in the starting lineup.
For this reason, a decision has been made to part ways with Donnarumma and sell him to another club. Donnarumma has been informed that the team's number one goalkeeper will now be Shevalye.
Last season, Matvey Safonov played in 17 official matches for PSG and conceded a total of 13 goals in these matches. Nevertheless, Safonov became the winner of the French championship, the French Cup, the French Super Cup, and the Champions League with PSG.
These changes will play a crucial role in shaping the team's lineup for the upcoming season.
