PSG head coach Luis Enrique shared his thoughts on the 'Ballon d'Or' award. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
As a main contender for the award, Paris team's forward Ousmane Dembélé is being considered. At the same time, the team's right-back Achraf Hakimi believes he is deserving of this award.
During the press conference, journalists asked Luis Enrique to choose between Dembélé and Hakimi. However, the head coach did not single out a specific player in this regard.
Enrique emphasized that football is primarily a team sport. According to him, fans expect achievements as a team, and it is precisely team victories that lead to individual awards.
Enrique also noted that last season the team acted as a whole, resulting in numerous achievements. He mentioned that personal awards are not always the top priority for the team.
The 'Ballon d'Or' award ceremony will take place on September 22.
