
The Moscow Spartak football club expressed gratitude to the fans who supported the team during the match against Mahachkala Dynamo in the group stage of the Russian Cup. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to a statement from the club's press service, nearly 17 thousand spectators watched the match held at the home ground of the red-and-white team. Spartak representatives came to the stadium in the evening and expressed their gratitude to all the fans who helped the team.
It was noted that the match ended in a draw at the end of regular time. Although Spartak conceded a goal in the 87th minute, they managed to equalize the score with a goal from Ruslan Litvinov in extra time, earning the team one point.
In the end, in the penalty shootout after the match, the Mahachkala club won 4:3. Thus, Spartak once again emphasized its gratitude to its fans, regardless of the match result.
