Chelsea bought Xavi Simons for 70 million euros

Chelsea and RB Leipzig clubs have reached an agreement for the transfer of attacking midfielder Xavi Simons. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

Chelsea will pay 60 million pounds, which is nearly 70 million euros, for the 22-year-old player. This was reported by journalist Horacio Accomando.

The terms of the contract with the player have also been agreed upon. The deal will be officially announced after Chelsea sells another player.

Last season, Xavi Simons played 33 matches for RB Leipzig, scoring 11 goals and providing 8 assists. In January, the German club purchased Simons from PSG for 50 million euros.

The Chelsea team, under the management of coach Enzo Maresca, will start the new season on August 17 with a home game against Crystal Palace. The club's new signing Xavi Simons is expected to be one of the key players in the team.
