The former head coach of Moscow's "Lokomotiv" team, Yuri Syomin, expressed his opinion about the differences of Grozny's "Akmat" club coach Stanislav Cherchesov compared to other specialists. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to Syomin, Cherchesov can correctly assess the individual abilities of players as the most important factor in his coaching career and makes the best decisions for the team based on this. This particular trait distinguishes high-level coaches from others.
After Cherchesov was appointed as the head coach of "Akmat," the team won its first match 1-0 against "Zenit" under his leadership. Syomin called Cherchesov an important figure for Russian football and emphasized that he has a broader and more diverse approach to football compared to other coaches.
For reference, Cherchesov took over "Akmat" from Aleksandr Storozhuk. Under Storozhuk's leadership, the Grozny team suffered defeats in the first three matches of the 2025/2026 season.
Thus, the new coach was able to bring positive results to the team.
