The head coach of the Orenburg team, Vladimir Slishkovich, shared his thoughts with "Match TV" ahead of the match against "Akhmat." This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
He emphasized the presence of many young players in the current lineup and reminded that a similar situation occurred in the last game. The coach stated that it is natural for young players to make mistakes.
According to him, the main goal is to adapt them to the game and help them gain experience. Additionally, he noted the importance of each player performing for 90 minutes according to the assigned plan.
Slishkovich highlighted that this game is a good opportunity for some players to showcase themselves, and for the coaching staff to assess the possibilities within the squad. He also mentioned the importance of this match in determining who can be trusted and who is not yet ready for the RPL level.
The coach also commented on the fact that a new coach has started at the "Akhmat" team. In his opinion, this situation is significant to some extent, as the team may not have fully adapted yet.
Slishkovich, who stated that he analyzed the last game, noted that "Akhmat" focused more on defense in the last 20 minutes of the match against "Zenit," trying to maintain the result. Therefore, he emphasized that it is difficult to fully assess the new coach's playing style.
He mentioned the importance of focusing more on his team's game and acting according to the plan. Slishkovich expressed his confidence in his team, stating that if they play according to the assigned plan, there will be no problems.
