Zabarnıy became the most expensive sold second Ukrainian football player

Among them, defender Ilya Zabarnıy is one of the players transferred at the highest price. According to reports, only one Ukrainian player has been sold for a higher price than Zabarnıy, according to Transfermarkt.

This player is Mykhailo Mudryk. In the winter of 2023, Chelsea bought Mudryk from Shakhtar for 70 million euros.

However, this transfer result is well known to many, as Mykhailo Mudryk faced issues due to a doping-related scandal. It is worth noting that Bournemouth recently sold Zabarnıy to PSG for 63 million euros.

In the ranking of the most expensive transfers, Andriy Shevchenko holds the third place. Chelsea bought him from Milan for 43.88 million euros in the 2000s.
