Baltika midfielder accidentally scored Lokomotiv's goal

Baltika team's midfielder Vladislav Saus shared his thoughts on the 1:1 draw in the fifth round of the Russian Premier League match against Lokomotiv. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

He described Lokomotiv's goal, scored in the 80th minute following Dmitriy Barinov's free kick and Nikolay Komlichenko's deflection, as accidental. According to Saus, if Lokomotiv were given ten such chances, they wouldn't have scored even one.

He noted that Barinov's shot seemed to be going off target, but Komlichenko somehow managed to touch the ball with his foot. He also mentioned that his team was striving for victory supported by their home ground and fans.

According to Saus, although the game was evenly matched, Baltika created more goal-scoring opportunities. Overall, both teams tested their chances during the match, but the draw result is considered fair.
