Guardiola: Haaland is not obliged to apologize

"Manchester City" head coach Josep Guardiola shared his opinion regarding the increased criticism towards Erling Haaland due to the team's recent results. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
He emphasized that the Norwegian striker is not obliged to apologize to anyone because he is fully utilizing his potential on the field and continues to fight. Guardiola clarified the discussions around Haaland and assessed the matter with a team-oriented approach.
According to him, the team's losses or draws are not the fault of a single player but the responsibility of the entire team. He said: "Erling is not required to apologize to anyone.
He is doing his best and has not stopped trying. If the team suffers a defeat, it is the responsibility of the whole team, not just one player.
An apology is only necessary if someone has been negligent in their duties. At the moment, that is not the case." According to information, "Manchester City" is going through a series of difficult matches this season.
In the last seven games, the team has suffered two defeats, recorded three draws, and won only twice. These victories came in domestic cup competitions.
At the same time, Haaland himself has not scored in several matches, which has been widely discussed. Some experts note that he has not fully regained his physical form, and this situation is affecting his effectiveness.
However, according to Guardiola, Haaland benefits the team not only through goals but also through fighting, effort, and applying pressure on the field. The coach noted that the team is striving to maintain unity and improve results during this difficult period.
