"Dream came true: The heroes of Uzbekistan were welcomed with a grand ceremony in Tashkent!"

The Uzbekistan national team has secured a spot in the FIFA World Cup for the first time in history, bringing great joy and pride to our people. Our team returned to Tashkent after the decisive match held in the United Arab Emirates. Our compatriots gathered at Tashkent airport early in the morning to welcome our champions.


A special ceremonial event was organized to welcome our national team as the plane landed. A red carpet was laid out, and the flags of our country waved at the airport, where our players were warmly greeted by the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov, the president of the Uzbekistan Football Association Bahodir Qurbonov, and other high-ranking officials.

Flowers were presented to the players who disembarked from the plane and to the head coach Temur Kapadze. Each player received special attention, and gratitude was expressed for their outstanding achievements. The members of our national team were delighted by the support of our compatriots and sincerely thanked them.

Our President Shavkat Mirziyoyev decided to award the members of the national team who achieved this historic result with the title of "Pride of Uzbekistan." Additionally, our players will receive BYD Champion cars as a special gift from the head of state.

After the grand welcome event, the team members met with the media and fans at the airport. The team leaders, coach Temur Kapadze and captain Eldor Shomurodov expressed their thoughts and extended special gratitude for the attention and trust shown by our people and our leader.
