Al-Ayn took third place in the group
“Vidad” and “Al-Ayn” clubs competed to determine the third place in Group G of the World Championship. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

The Casablanca team had an advantage in additional statistics, so the draw result satisfied them. In the fourth minute of the match, Nordin Amrabat passed the ball to Mo‘hammed Munir from the right flank, who sent the ball into the penalty area. Kassius Maylula received the ball and struck accurately into the near corner, opening the scoring – 1:0.

The “Vidad” team easily approached the opponent's penalty area, Tembinkosi Lorch provided an accurate pass to Maylula, but his shot from ten meters hit the post and went over. “Al-Ayn” launched a quick counterattack. Kodjo Laba found himself alone with the goalkeeper, but the “Vidad” goalkeeper saved the ball.

After a corner kick was delivered, Rami Rabya headed the ball, but the goalkeeper saved his team again. Later, Laba successfully converted a penalty for “Al-Ayn,” with the ball and the goalkeeper going in different directions – 1:1. At the beginning of the second half, Laba held the ball on the left flank and passed it to Matius Palasios.

Palasios fell while shooting, but the shot was blocked, and he quickly got back up to pass the ball back to Kaku. Kaku struck accurately into the left corner from fifteen meters – 1:2.

Lorch received a pass from the left flank and struck from the corner of the penalty area with a second touch, but the goalkeeper saved his goal from close range. Sufyan Rakhimi entered the penalty area from the left flank and passed the ball to Laba for an open goal, but he could not direct the ball accurately. “Vidad” launched a counterattack from the penalty area, Rakhimi took the ball, got past the opposing defender, and shot, but the ball went over the bar. “Al-Ayn” secured third place in the group with three points, while “Vidad” missed all opportunities.
