The 21-year-old Argentine Roman Vega has joined the team as a left defender. He signed a five-year contract with the St. Petersburg club.

Roman Vega previously played for Argentinos Juniors in Argentina. Interestingly, during the 2022-2023 season, he played on loan for Barcelona's youth team.

The Zenit management and team are welcoming Roman Vega in St. Petersburg and wishing him success in achieving new accomplishments. In the first round of the upcoming season, Zenit will play against Rostov at home.
