The general director of the Orenburg team, Kirill Voljenkin, commented on the continuation of coach Vladimir Slishkovich's tenure. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
Slishkovich accepted the leadership of the Orenburg team in October 2024, but could not avoid relegation from the national football top league. Nevertheless, he retained his position.
According to Voljenkin, the team management considered this decision to be the most effective way forward. He found that they shared common views on the development of the team after discussing with the head coach.
Therefore, they decided to continue working together. Previously, Vladimir Slishkovich worked for two years in the staff of Moscow Spartak and served as the head coach of this team in 2024.
This experience is helping him manage the Orenburg team. The team management aims to achieve even better results in the future by continuing cooperation with the coach.
