The French club "Marseille" has started negotiations with Juventus player Timothy Weah. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
Last week, information emerged about Marseille's interest in the American winger. Now this process has reached a definite stage.
According to journalist Nicolo Schira, Marseille has offered a contract to the 25-year-old player until 2030. Timothy Weah was considered the main candidate by Nottingham Forest in June.
Unfortunately, although Juventus was ready to accept the "Forest" offer, the player expressed his decision and declined the deal. According to data from the Transfermarkt website, Weah's value is estimated at around 17 million euros.
The American player's current contract with Juventus is set to last until 2028. Therefore, there are various speculations about his future, and Marseille's offers will depend on the player's decision.
Negotiations between the club and the player are ongoing.
