Spartak is considering releasing Jesus Medina

Spartak's midfielder Jesus Medina may continue his career at another club in the Russian Premier League. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

Agent Timur Gurtzkaya stated that the Spartak management is considering the option of terminating the contract of the 28-year-old Paraguayan player. If Medina becomes a free agent, Lokomotiv, which has shown interest in him, may add him to their squad.

In 2023, Spartak paid six million euros to CSKA to acquire Medina. Since then, he has played in 58 matches across all competitions, scoring eight goals and providing seven assists.

Jesus Medina's current contract with Spartak is set to last until next summer.
