Dyokeresh's transfer to Arsenal has been halted
The transfer of forward Viktor Dyokeresh from Lisbon's Sporting to Arsenal may not take place. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to the Portuguese publication Record, the negotiation process has stalled. In recent days, since Sunday, the parties have been unable to reach an agreement, as the clubs are not willing to compromise on their terms.
Arsenal offered to pay 65 million euros immediately for the 27-year-old Dyokeresh, as well as add bonuses of 5 million and 10 million euros. However, Sporting is demanding 70 million euros outright.
The difference is not large, but the deal remains at risk. For reference, Viktor Dyokeresh scored 54 goals in 52 matches last season.
His impressive performance has increased Arsenal's interest, but negotiations are currently difficult, and the outcome of the transfer is uncertain. If the disagreements between the club and the player are not resolved, the likelihood of the transfer not happening is high.
