"Crystal Palace" team disagrees with UEFA's decision. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The club was disqualified for violating the rule of ownership of multiple clubs in the Europa League competition. The Jon Textor company recently sold its stake in "Crystal Palace," but this process was supposed to be completed by March 1.
As a result, both "Crystal Palace" and "Lyon" teams cannot participate in the Europa League competition at the same time. The French club gained an advantage due to its high position in the championship.
According to a report by the Daily Mail, "Crystal Palace" will quickly appeal UEFA's decision to the CAS court. The London team previously emphasized to UEFA that Textor's company only owned 25 percent of the shares and did not have a significant influence over "Crystal Palace."
If "Crystal Palace" loses the appeal, it will play in the Europa Conference League.
