Zenit defender Douglas Santos does not want to leave the St. Petersburg club and return to Brazil. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

His agent, Thiago Freitas, stated this. According to Freitas, Douglas has never considered moving to any club in Brazil.

The agent also mentioned that Santos has attracted interest from Brazil's Cruzeiro team, but emphasized that this is not enough for the transfer. Douglas Santos has been representing Zenit since 2019.

The current contract is valid until the summer of 2027. During his time at the St. Petersburg club, Santos has been a five-time champion of the Russian Premier League and has won the Russian Cup twice.

Thus, the player and his representative prefer to stay with the team and currently have no plans to return to Brazil. During his time at Zenit, Santos has proven to be a reliable defender.
