Parfyonov: Spartak should not lose Martins

Former Spartak player Dmitriy Parfyonov commented on the extension of the contract with the team's midfielder Kristoffer Martins. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

The Spartak club's press service officially announced that the cooperation with the 28-year-old player will continue until 2028. According to Parfyonov, Martins has already adapted to the Russian Premier League games.

He also emphasized that it is currently unknown what will happen with players like Barco and Ugalde. He believes that such important players should not be lost before the start of the championship.

The specialist noted that Martins responds well to the demands of head coach Deyan Stankovich. Last season, Martins scored 9 goals and provided 5 assists in 33 matches.
