Proposal to strengthen the limit on legionnaires in Russia

This opinion was expressed by Yuri Nagornix, the chairman of the management board of the "Lokomotiv" team from Moscow. According to him, the "6+5" limit set before the World Cup is considered the most optimal.

According to current rules, Premier League clubs cannot register more than 13 foreign players in their applications for the season, and there cannot be more than eight legionnaires on the field at the same time. Last season, the "Lokomotiv" team ranked sixth in the Russian championship standings.
