Rapoport: CSKA lacks qualified attackers

Russian coach Boris Rapoport explained the reasons why the CSKA team in the capital may not win gold medals in the 2025-2026 Russian championship. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

In his opinion, the attacking line of the CSKA team is not strong enough in the Russian Premier League. The lack of qualified attackers in the team is clearly noticeable.

Rapoport does not see a player who can effectively convert goal opportunities in attack. He also emphasized that after Fabio Chelestini was appointed as head coach, the team would need time to develop its playing style.

Last season, CSKA won the bronze medal, as well as the Fonbet Russian Cup and the OLIMPBET Russian Super Cup. The first game of the new season will take place on July 21 against the Orenburg team.
