Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 sets a record with over 250 thousand players
On February 8, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 set an online record on Steam with 230 thousand users. However, just one day later, this result was updated.
Now the new record consists of 252,490 users playing simultaneously. It is highly likely that this number may increase again over the weekend or the following week.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 achieved this result in just about a week. The game was released on February 4, and the lack of major competitors in February gave it an additional advantage. Warhorse Studios head Daniel Vavra noted that the release date of the game was specifically set for this day to avoid clashing with Assassin’s Creed Shadows. As a result, Assassin’s Creed Shadows was moved to March.
Additionally, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 surpassed one million copies sold on its first day. Soon, the developers may announce that they have also reached the second million.
