Microsoft has raised Xbox prices

Microsoft Corporation has raised the prices of its Xbox consoles and related accessories starting from May 1, 2025, according to uz.kursiv.media.

According to the new prices, the 512 GB Xbox Series S has increased by 26.6% to $380 (approximately 4,560,000 soums). The more powerful Xbox Series X has become 20% more expensive, reaching $600 (approximately 7,200,000 soums). Additionally, the price of controllers has risen from $70 to $80 (approximately 960,000 soums).

Microsoft explained this decision by the market conditions and the rising costs of development.

Previously, Sony Corporation had also raised the prices of PlayStation consoles in Europe by 25%. These changes were made under the influence of the trade tariffs imposed by U.S. President Donald Trump.
