Service center for Airbus helicopters opened in Chirchiq

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the Chirchiq aviation repair plant and familiarized himself with the large-scale modernization works carried out there and the activities of new high-tech units. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Based on this plant, a unique service center for Airbus helicopters in the CIS and the region has been established. This center has been officially certified by the French Airbus company, and the production processes have been fully organized in accordance with international standards.
The center provides full technical service and repair work for modern models of Western aviation equipment, including H-125, H-215, and H-130 helicopters. This center enables Uzbekistan to become an important regional hub for servicing Airbus helicopters.
During the visit, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev closely examined the center's capabilities and communicated with specialists. Additionally, the head of state was presented with updated workshops for the overhaul and modernization of Su-25 military aircraft.
Advanced technologies have been introduced in these workshops, and work is underway to equip the aircraft with modern navigation systems, night vision devices, and onboard protection complexes. At the end of the visit, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev gave important instructions to further develop and strengthen the country's defense industry potential.
