Cold weather persists in Uzbekistan, snowfall is expected

**Tashkent city** The weather in the capital will be variable, with light snowfall possible in some places at night and in the morning. There is a possibility of fog.
Winds will blow from the northeast at a speed of 3–8 m/s. Temperatures are expected to be 2–4 degrees below zero at night and 1–3 degrees above zero during the day.
**Republic of Karakalpakstan** The weather will be mostly cloudy in the region. Snowfall is possible in some places.
Winds will blow from the northeast at a speed of 7–12 m/s. Temperatures at night will range from 12 to 17 degrees below zero, and in Ustyurt up to 20 degrees below zero, with daytime temperatures between 2 and 6 degrees below zero.
**Khorezm region** No precipitation is expected, but fog may be observed in some places. Night temperatures will be 9–13 degrees below zero, and daytime temperatures 0–3 degrees below zero.
**Bukhara and Navoi regions** The weather will be cloudy with little precipitation. There is a possibility of fog in some places.
Night temperatures will be 6–12 degrees below zero, and daytime temperatures 2–6 degrees above zero. **Tashkent, Sirdaryo, Jizzakh, and Samarkand regions** Light snowfall is possible in some places at night.
Night temperatures will be 3–7 degrees below zero, and daytime temperatures 1–5 degrees above zero. **Qashqadaryo and Surxondaryo regions** Snowfall and fog are possible in some areas at night and in the morning.
Night temperatures will be 2–8 degrees below zero, and daytime temperatures 4–9 degrees above zero. **Andijan, Namangan, and Fergana Valley** Light snowfall is possible in some places.

There is a risk of avalanches and icy conditions on roads. Night temperatures will be 12–18 degrees below zero, and daytime temperatures 6–10 degrees below zero.
