A new system has been introduced in Uzbekistan to modernize public administration and increase efficiency. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to the decision adopted by the Cabinet of Ministers, the KPI system will be used as the main indicator for evaluating the effectiveness of the activities of the heads of republican executive authorities and economic associations, as well as their deputies. This was reported by norma.uz.
Within the framework of the new system, the effectiveness of the activities of leaders will be clearly assessed, and special expert groups will be established to prevent risks of non-fulfillment. These groups will develop KPI indicators and ensure their compliance with state programs and the "Uzbekistan – 2030" strategy.
Additionally, measures aimed at solving problems in the field will be taken. Experts will conduct an examination of KPI indicators in collaboration with state scientific centers and other interested organizations.
Proposals will be prepared for the continuous monitoring of the implementation of the adopted indicators, identifying shortcomings, and eliminating risks. The main task of the expert groups is to ensure the compliance of the KPI system with state strategies and programs, to monitor the targeted use of budget funds, and to regularly analyze results.
This new system serves to enhance transparency, efficiency, and accountability in public administration. Necessary amendments have been made to the measures related to the evaluation of the activities of leaders based on KPIs by the Cabinet of Ministers.
The new system requires high responsibility, clarity, and efficiency from leaders and employees. Specialists and the public are closely monitoring the results of this reform.
