Trump spoke with Putin for more than two hours on the phone
The phone conversation between U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin has concluded. The conversation lasted for more than two hours. This was reported by NBC News, citing a White House spokesperson.

The discussion between Trump and Putin took place against the backdrop of efforts to reach an agreement on a 30-day ceasefire in Ukraine. During this conversation, the two leaders discussed the issue of coordinating a long-term peace agreement. It is known that Kyiv has accepted the peace proposal. Now Washington is awaiting a response from Moscow.

Putin's press secretary Dmitry Peskov also confirmed to the TASS agency that the phone conversation has ended.

This is the second time the leaders of the two countries have spoken on the phone since Donald Trump returned to the White House. Their first conversation took place on February 12 and lasted one and a half hours. As a result of this communication, the presidents agreed to immediately start negotiations to resolve the Russia-Ukraine conflict.

The U.S. leader's special envoy Steven Witkoff also reported that a phone conversation between Trump and Putin would take place. "I think there will be a really good and positive discussion between the two presidents this week," he said.

In this complex geopolitical situation, the interactions between the two leaders continue to hold significant importance.
